Seriously, guys, I'm not just trying to sound poetic...
Your hair health works just like every other part of your bodily health system.
Recently, I heard a statement that was so simple ,but so profound it said, " Hair products don't grow your hair, you do!"
If you are just trying to find a one hit miracle hair growth product, I hate to break it to you but they don't exist.
Now if you have chronic hair issues like alopecia that's a different conversation we will have to tackle in another post, but right now we are talking about hair goals. Addressing those that want healthy lengthy full hair and are trying to rush or skip a process.
Your diet is a huge contributor to how healthy and strong your hair can grow. We will touch on just a few tips that can have you seeing a difference in your hair health, and prove that healthy hair starts from within.
Drink water or Infusion Waters
No matter how many times you hear it, "you need to drink water." Sis, are you doing it? Your hair needs water, not just on it. You have to begin drinking the recommended amount of daily water ( 8- 8-ounce cups).
This is about over all health that will surely benefit your hair in the long run.
2. Take Multivitamins
As much as we know it to be true, that our food just doesn't have the same nutritional value as it used to; we don't realise just how drastic it is. The truth is, with the way that our food is being grown, the way that animals are being fed, because of the wide use of pesticides, our food just as isn't nutritious as it used to be. You're not eating the same food that your parents or your grandparents ate. With that being true, it's very important to supplement our diets with vitamins, to make sure that our bodies are getting all the vitamins and minerals that it needs. Once our bodies are fed with what it needs, your hair will automatically benefit from the nutrition your body benefits from.
3. You're already Beautiful
The most important thing to remember Sis, is that you're already beautiful, within and without. Taking care of yourself and making sure that you are keeping yourself nourished, is just an enhancement to the beauty that God has already given you. We as women are all beautiful, with our different shapes and sizes, colors, heights, all the things that make us different; make us beautiful. That also goes for our hair, all hair is beautiful, all hair is good hair! So don't neglect your water. Get it in! If you don't like water infuse it with your favorite fruit. Take your multivitamins, and eat a balanced diet. Don't miss out on those omega 3's, sourced from fish, and don't neglect good fats, like avocado!
